A
little history about our company.

This is one of
those
'good old fashioned American success
stories'. Owner, Tim Stearns began Ace Industrial Supply in 1983 at the
age of 20, selling tools from a small
office he set up in a bedroom at his parents' home. After floundering
for 7 years, in 1990 Tim, with his only salesman, Lee Bristow, rented
office space in Pacoima, CA..
Through word of mouth and
a rapidly growing clientele,
Tim began to
realize his dream quickly but outgrew his first office. It
was time to expand! He opened an office in Burbank, then off
again to Sun Valley, CA. where the company grew and thrived for 10
years.
Word spread rapidly that ACE
was becoming the masthead in the industry and that Tim's
company was the place to
work and thrive. Tim's dedication to his sales crew and his employees
was unsurpassed. His generosity, not just inside the company but
throughout the entire community was well received and the continued
growth inevitable. In September 2003, ground was broken in Burbank, CA
for what would soon become the 35,000 square foot building that would
be the new headquarters for ACE Industrial Supply.

Tim's Vice President,
Richard Benton, handled the design and development of the new ACE
building. In keeping with Tim's vision of a spacious and comfortable work
environment
for the large sales crew and administrative employees, Richard worked
closely with Voit Development Co. in the layout and
design of our new 'home' which includes an 18,000 sq. ft. warehouse,
and 17,000 sq. ft. of office space which includes 4 kitchens,
upstairs and downstairs sales offices and a large recreation room with
all the amenities.
Ace Industrial Supply is located right
next to the very busy Burbank
Airport in the Burbank Commerce Center. Doors opened in February
2004 and the enthusiastic 'Ace family' settled right in. In an instant
the
company grew to over 100 in-house sales people, 35 administrative
employees,
14 warehouse employees and many sales offices nationwide. In the 26
year history of ACE we have broken the previous year's sales record 25
times.
